I grew up in Changsha, the capital city of Hunan Province in China. My hometown is famous for the Xiang cuisine (湘菜) and snacks like Stinky Tofu (臭豆腐), rice noodles (米粉), and spicy crawfish (香辣小龙虾).
Before coming to Uchicago, I spent four years at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) as an undergraduate student, studying information management and information systems. My advisor there was Prof. Bin Hu.

At the University of Chicago, I am a Master student of the Computational Social Science Program. I participate in the GitHub Project, led by Professor James Evans, to understand how programming languages differentiate coders’ behaviors and community structures.
